The 2.0.5 software update for Suunto Kailash watches brings the new activity mode, an enhancement of the previous high-power GPS mode.
With the new feature you can measure duration, speed, pace, average pace, distance and altitude when exploring or doing sports activities. Your watch stores a log of the recording in the logbook, where up to 100 logs can be stored. You can view your tracks later on a map when you sync your watch with the Suunto 7R App*.
The activity mode uses both GPS and GLONASS with one second fix interval to locate your exact position. It gives you a more precise track for navigating in outdoors and city streets, as well as increases the accuracy of your 7R statistics. With a full battery, you can record up to 7 hours with activity mode.
The update brings also other general enhancements and bug fixes.
Make sure you have the latest version of SuuntoLink in order to receive the update. Updates to the 7R App for iPhone are delivered via the Apple App Store.
*Please note, that the activity logs are not be shown in the 7R App.
Read more about the activity mode on the Kailash product pages and in the Kailash user guide.
